Maldives Securities Depository (MSD) has introduced an online appointment booking service, allowing customers to choose a convenient date and time before visiting its office.
Appointments can be booked through www.msd.depository.mv by selecting “Book Appointment,” choosing the required service and reserving an available time. The service covers account opening, certificate processing and other shareholder-related services.
Walk-in customers will continue to be served during an initial three-month transition period, subject to availability. After this period, MSD’s in-person services will be provided through prior appointments only. Customers are therefore encouraged to begin using the online booking service.
MSD maintains the official records of securities ownership in the Maldives and provides services to investors, listed companies and other market participants. Its services include securities accounts, share registry services, ownership transfers, corporate actions and the settlement of transactions conducted through the Maldives Stock Exchange.
Investors can also use Infinity, MSD’s online investor platform, to view their investments, obtain account statements and access other investor services. Customers can sign up and access Infinity using their eFaas identity. MSD also operates FahiVote, which allows shareholders to participate and vote in company meetings electronically.

MSD CEO Noorbaan Fahmy said the new appointment system is part of the company’s continuing work to improve customer experience.
“Our aim is to make MSD’s services easier to access, simpler to use and more responsive to customers. We will continue to strengthen both our digital and customer-facing services so that investors and shareholders can deal with MSD more conveniently and with confidence,” she said.
MSD customer service is available from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Sunday to Thursday, at the third floor of H. Gadhamoo Building, Boduthakurufaanu Magu, Malé.
