Police have raided an apartment that was operating as a café-style drug den and arrested six people, and the Criminal Court has ordered them held in custody for 30 days.
According to police, the six were arrested on suspicion of possessing, using, dealing and trafficking drugs.
According to the court order:
- A large quantity of drugs, cash and scales used to weigh drugs were found in the apartment.
- The apartment was set up café-style, selling drugs and providing arrangements for people to use them there.
- The drugs and cash found were packed in rubber packets. Police said there was also evidence that some of those arrested frequently went in and out of the apartment.
Court's decision
At the hearing, the suspects denied the allegations, saying they had no connection with the drugs found at the apartment. However, considering the evidence presented by police, the court ordered all six to be held in custody for 30 days.
