Applications are now open for the Maldives MSME Awards 2025, aimed at recognizing and encouraging the achievements of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the Maldives.
Introduced in November last year by the Business Centre Corporation (BCC) under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the awards celebrate outstanding accomplishments in the business sector. Presented annually by the BCC, the awards seek to highlight the innovation, skills, and progress of Maldivian entrepreneurs.
This year, applications can be submitted in 24 categories: 13 selected by a panel of judges and 11 chosen by the public. The official policy governing the awards has been published in the Government Gazette.
Interested businesses can apply through the BCC’s dedicated online portal at https://msme.bcc.mv. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM on October 2.
The BCC emphasized that the awards not only celebrate the hard work of small businesses but also help create opportunities for expansion into new markets. The corporation encourages broad participation to showcase the dynamic growth and innovation within the Maldivian MSME sector.
