On the occasion of the 34th Maldivian Writers' Day, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended his best wishes and congratulations to all Maldivian writers and beloved citizens, sharing important messages at a national level.
In his message released for this special day, the President reminded that the holy religion of Islam strongly encourages education, the dissemination of accurate information, and the advancement of writing.
Consequently, he highlighted the importance of every writer who writes in the Dhivehi language to spread the truth and communicate respectfully within society. He also advised all writers to promote constructive ideas and positive narratives that will benefit themselves and others today and in the future.
Furthermore, the President stated that Maldivian writers must be trustworthy, patriotic individuals who make the nation proud and write in ways that bring prosperity to the country. He concluded with a prayer asking for blessings upon the sincere work being done by Maldivian writers past and present.
