National airline Maldivian has announced that it is seeking two Airbus A220-300 aircraft under an operating lease, as part of its efforts to expand its fleet.
Maldivian said eligible parties may submit proposals before 28 October. The deadline for submitting questions to clarify details of the project is 14:00 on Thursday, 15 October, and the company said answers to the questions will be provided before 19 October.
Maldivian has been adding more aircraft to its fleet and increasing the destinations and frequency of its domestic and international flights. The airline currently operates scheduled flights to seven destinations in four countries, including two cities in India, Dhaka in Bangladesh, three cities in China and Melbourne in Australia.
